ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• 13-week contract assignment
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Must be willing to float to facility FSEDs as needed
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred qualifications: Meditech experience, trauma experience, holding inpatient experience, CPI
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, 5 behavioral health beds
• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
• EMR system: MEDITECH
• Typical procedures: splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter
• No call requirements

The facility maintains high staffing levels with 111 emergency services staff members and operates with modern equipment and technology. The emergency department provides full trauma and cardiac care capabilities with rapid infuser systems and advanced monitoring equipment, serving as a key emergency care provider in the region.
