Compensation:
$50,000 - $65,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

Estate Planning:

Draft estate planning documents and prepare detailed notes for attorney review.
Communicate with clients to gather any missing information and answer questions.
Manage estate planning files from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Oversee the signing process of estate planning documents.

Probate:

Take ownership of probate files, managing all aspects from opening through to closure, while communicating with clients, courts, and other involved parties with minimal attorney assistance.
Provide exceptional client service in a white-glove manner, ensuring that clients feel fully supported throughout the probate process.
Assist clients with administering non-probate assets when needed.

Guardianship:

Handle guardianship files, managing communication with clients, courts, and other parties.
Prepare and file annual guardianship reports accurately and promptly.

General Duties:

Organize and maintain both electronic and physical client files for efficient storage and retrieval.
Regularly review and document processes to improve office procedures.
Log notes and billable time contemporaneously into the firm's case management system.
Pursue ongoing legal and non-legal education to stay current with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning and probate administration.
Guardianship experience is a plus but not required.
