Are you an engineer driven by the goal of saving lives? We are seeking a highly skilled Airbag Design Engineer to join our team in Casa Grande. In this role, you will be responsible for the research, design, and development of mission-critical airbag systems for next-generation production vehicles.

The Role: What You'll Do
You will own the maturation of airbag design and validation, ensuring that every system provides maximum protection for drivers and passengers in real-world conditions.
Systems Design: Research, design, and develop airbag modules, tools, and related mechanical devices using advanced CAD and engineering software.
Feasibility Analysis: Analyze customer design proposals and technical specifications to assess time and cost feasibility.
Technical Leadership: Assist drafters with structural design development and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical reports.
Validation & Testing: Support cross-functional engineering and testing teams to ensure every design meets or exceeds global safety standards.
Documentation: Meticulously document development history and design decisions to ensure long-term traceability and safety compliance.
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
We are looking for a veteran of the automotive safety space who understands the complexities of OEM and Tier 1 integration.
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in engineering , with at least 3 years specifically in Airbag Design .
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering ( BSME ) or a related technical field.
Specific Hard Skills:
3+ years of Airbag Design experience.
1+ years of Curtain Airbag Design experience.
3 5 years of experience working within an OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and a strong ability to interpret complex technical schematics.
Soft Skills: A "team player" mindset with excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
